While not mandatory, we strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and evacuation. Standard travel policies typically cover yacht charters. Medical facilities in Labuan Bajo are adequate for minor issues; serious cases require evacuation to Bali or Singapore. We provide insurance guidance during the booking process.

Komodo International Airport (LBJ) in Labuan Bajo is the main gateway, offering direct flights from Bali (Ngurah Rai) and Jakarta (Soekarno-Hatta). Flight time from Bali is approximately 1.5 hours. We arrange private airport transfers to the harbor for all guests.

Snorkeling equipment is included in all charters. Diving packages with certified dive guides, tanks, BCDs, and regulators are available as an add-on for certified divers. Please bring your dive certification card. We can also arrange introductory dives for beginners in calm, shallow sites.

All vessels are operated by licensed captains and certified crews with formal maritime training. Onboard safety includes life rafts, EPIRBs, satellite communication, first aid kits, and regular safety briefings. Every charter departs with a full pre-trip safety check and weather assessment.

All meals during the trip are included — breakfast, lunch, and dinner — prepared fresh by our onboard chef using quality local ingredients. Mineral water, coffee, and tea are complimentary throughout. Special dietary requirements (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, allergies) can be accommodated with advance notice. Alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages are available at additional cost.

A Komodo yacht charter with Komodo Luxury is priced per night for the whole boat: from USD 3,250 per night for a Deluxe phinisi up to USD 27,000 per night for an ultra-luxury superyacht, with the most-requested VVIP phinisi class starting at USD 5,900 per night. Rates hold across 2026 and are open for 2027 bookings; NYE and the July–August peak carry a premium.

Per boat. Every rate published by Komodo Luxury on this page is a whole-vessel rate per night — the boat is yours alone, with no shared cabins and no minimum passenger count. A USD 5,900 per night phinisi costs USD 5,900 per night whether you sail with 2 guests or 10.

Read "per day" as per night aboard: from USD 5,300 per yacht per night at entry-luxury published rates — a private boat price per day that includes crew, chef, full board and routing; only park tickets (IDR 700,000 ≈ USD 40 per person) sit outside it.

A 3-day / 2-night charter is 2 nights x the nightly whole-boat rate. Worked from published rates: from USD 6,500 total for a Deluxe phinisi (USD 3,250 x 2 nights), from USD 11,800 for a VVIP phinisi such as Magia II (USD 5,900 x 2), and from USD 40,000 for a superyacht such as Prana (USD 20,000 x 2), before National Park fees and VAT.

No. National Park entrance, ranger, conservation and diving permits are quoted separately and are paid per person per day at rates set by the park authority — Komodo Luxury arranges the permits and itemises them in your quotation. Indonesian VAT (11–12%) is additional on the vessels marked "+ VAT" above; all other published rates are VAT-inclusive.

From the managed fleet: Mutiara Cruise (10 cabins, 28 guests, 47 m), Arfisyana 2 (7 cabins, 22 guests), Lamborajo III (8 cabins, 22 guests) and Ocean Angel (16 cabins, up to 44 guests, 38 m). Larger phinisi are usually quoted between USD 4,700 and USD 8,250 per night for the whole boat.

The small-cabin VVIP yachts are the most private: Si Datu Bua (3 cabins, 6 guests, 40.2 m), Mischief (3 cabins, 6 guests, 30 m) and The Oracle (3 cabins, 6 guests, 35 m). Because charters are whole-boat, a couple can also take a 4-cabin yacht such as Magia II from USD 5,900 per night and simply leave the other cabins empty.

A Deluxe phinisi from USD 3,250 per night is the lowest whole-boat overnight rate in the fleet, and it sleeps 15–24 guests — which is why per-head cost falls sharply with group size. For a single day on the water without an overnight stay, a private speedboat charter starts from USD 680 per day.

For the July–August 2027 peak and the 2026/2027 New Year window, the superyachts and the well-known phinisi are typically committed 9–12 months ahead. April–June and September–November 2027 usually remain open 3–4 months out. Dates are confirmed on deposit, with the balance due 30 days before departure.
