There are a few ways to get from Bali to Komodo Island. One option is to take a direct flight from Ngurah Rai Airport to Labuan Bajo, which takes just about an hour. But since I wanted a more luxurious experience, I opted for a Bali to Komodo Island tour packages from Komodo Luxury.

Day 1: Sailing to Sebayur Island and Taka Makassar
The adventure began with a transfer from my hotel to Labuan Bajo Port, where I hopped on a small boat to board the phinisi. Upon arrival, I was greeted with a refreshing welcome drink. I immediately felt right at home! Our first stop was Sebayur Island, where we went snorkeling in the vibrant coral reefs. After enjoying the waters, we moved on to Taka Makassar, a sandbar surrounded by shallow blue water. I even walked on the water here—it was such a unique experience!
We then sailed to Manta Point to see the majestic Manta Rays. I was lucky enough to interact with these magnificent creatures—such an unforgettable moment!
Day 2: Trekking on Padar Island and Komodo Island
The next day, we trekked up Padar Island, which offered breathtaking views from the top. The climb was a challenge, but the view was definitely worth it—like something straight out of Jurassic World!
Next, we visited Komodo Island to see the famous Komodo Dragons up close. I was a little nervous but completely amazed by these powerful creatures. We also stopped by Pink Beach, a stunning beach with pink sand. Finally, we sailed to Kalong Island to catch a rare sunset as thousands of bats flew overhead.
Day 3: Kelor Island and Manjarite
On the last day, we sailed to Kelor Island, where I hiked to the top of a hill with an amazing view. Then, we headed to Manjarite for some more snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. I saw beautiful fish and vibrant coral before we sailed back to Flores mainland.

Each morning, I woke up to the view of Komodo National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, right outside my window. I also loved spending time on the sun deck, my favorite spot on the boat to relax and enjoy the spectacular ocean views.
The food on the boat was delicious, prepared by professional chefs with a variety of dishes that kept me satisfied throughout the journey. The friendly crew also made the trip feel like I was at home, which made everything even better.
