About Aliikai Voyage

Aliikai is a 41 m wooden boat being entirely refitted in Bali in 2019 -2020. Its keel was laid in the small village of Bulukumba, South Sulawesi in 2005 and It took 3 years with the help of dozen of carpenters and finishers to complete the vessel. Being used as an expedition boat for small groups or families around the lesser Sunda islands for almost 14 years, Aliikai began its transformation in November and is now awaiting you to continue to write its story. Designed with an emphasis on space, privacy, and comfort, Aliikai boasts 7 generous cabins on three decks, an intimate and cozy lounge & dining room, a spacious sky deck, and a vast alfresco area on the main deck. Aliikai has plenty of lounge areas for everybody.

Facilities

Aliikai’s indoor lounge and dining area is an air-conditioned multi-purpose space where guests can relax and take refuge from the mid-day sun. The wrap-around windows give the interior lounge an airy, expansive feel while keeping it connected to the rugged landscape. The fold-away glass doors lead to the covered Outdoor Lounge and Dining area, where guests can dine under the stars and relax on the comfortable daybeds and sofas. A mindful yoga studio turned into a relaxing lounge surrounded by natural breezes in Aliikai’s Upperdeck Lounge. Our crew turns the lounge into a cinema under the stars in the evening where guests can choose from a selection of movies – popcorn is included!

Booking can only be made with a down payment.

Payment Process

Payment is made in the following steps:

A 50% deposit is required to secure the trip.
The deposit is non-refundable in the event of participant cancellation at any time.
The remaining payment must be made no later than 14 days before the trip.
The full payment must be made if the trip is less than 14 days away.

Documentation Consent

KomodoLuxury provides documentation during the trip. Each participant agrees to be recorded and photographed, and Komodo Luxury reserves the right to use the footage for promotional purposes.

Agreement to Terms

By registering, participants agree to the terms and conditions of the trip.

Cancellation

Participant Cancellation
If a participant cancels, the payment made cannot be refunded, rescheduled, or moved to another trip. However, participants may find a replacement person to take their place.
Force Majeure
In force majeure (natural disasters, bad weather, riots, disease outbreaks, government regulations, or other coercive conditions), the trip may be changed or canceled without refund for participants, and Komodo Luxury is not liable for any losses or inconvenience caused.
(Force majeure refers to events beyond human control that prevent activities from being carried out properly.)
Late Arrival
Participants who arrive late at the meeting point, causing an extension of the itinerary, inconvenience to other participants, or other disruptions, are considered to have resigned from the trip with no refund.
We are not responsible for the terms and conditions set forth by any other company.

Responsibility

Komodo Luxury is not responsible and cannot be held liable for changes or cancellations of flight schedules, baggage damage or loss, airlines, hotels, or other transportation delays, or for damage or loss of participants’ personal belongings during the trip. KomodoLuxury is also not liable for changes or reductions in travel due to Force Majeure.
Participants are responsible for any loss or damage to trip facilities such as life jackets, snorkels, and masks. The cost of the damaged or lost items will be charged to the participant.
Participants must follow the instructions of the tour leader during the trip and cannot make unilateral decisions in any form without our consent.
Suppose any participant engages in illegal drug use or causes disturbances that inconvenience other participants during the trip. In that case, Komodo Luxury reserves the right to remove or repatriate the participant without any refund of payments made.
